Inver – meaning a confluences of waters or rivers – has taken two years to create. It was recorded in a small house in the fishing village of Cullen on the Moray Firth coast, Alex’s family home. A collection of original compositions by Alex Ross and arrangements of two traditional songs (one featuring Beccy Owen), Inver was created, mixed and produced by Hav.
The compositions are set in a sound world created entirely from field recordings along the Cullen coastline, including the Glenglassaugh distillery.
